in 1997 by Ian Pyzer, MediView has fast established itself as a
leader in the supply of specialist filters for degenerative eye conditions including Macular Disease, Retinitis
Pigmentosa, Cataracts, Diabetes, and more recently Migraine.
These plastic spectacle lens filters, fitted into glasses are designed to stop the particular light waves responsible
for troublesome symptoms specific to each condition (including:
glare, contrast & definition loss, poor dark adaptation, and headaches)
and to protect the eyes against their harmful effects.
MediView filters are made to prescription where required, into a
selection of eyewear styles including some that come with, as well
as without the extra protection of side-shields.
